Hello! I’m Daysha, the founder and owner of Cosmic Century Living. Welcome to my author page! I love writing all sorts of stories (especially short ones!) with characters that time travel, experience happy romances, and solve cozy mysteries. There are some darker tales swirling around in my mind, too, but I mostly like to keep things happy, light-hearted, and include a hopeful ending. For me, it’s all about raising the vibes and keeping them high!

Oh, what’s that? The name thing is confusing? So sorry… I have one of those names that’s always written or said wrong, so I’ve just embraced it in my old(er) age. Here’s some clarity if you’re really interested (and I love that about you!):
- DJ Ferris – My pen name and professional name if the project is written (film credits, songwriting, book/screenplay authorship).
- Daysha – How you’d say my name in casual conversation. If you see me at a comic con or a film festival, please say hello! I’ve spelled it phonetically so there’s no questioning how to pronounce it.
- Deixa – My acting/singing name. You know how Lady Gaga is Stephani Germanotti? Similar thing. Madonna, Britney, etc. When I’m performing or being cool online (lmao), I’m under the name “Deixa.” Yep, you’d say it the same way as the “Daysha” one for casual conversation.
- PrincessDeixa – My online handle for social media, video games, etc. It’s from a couple of things – primarily a nickname I was given as the singer in one of my bands. (Aren’t all singers royalty?? We seem to think so). It’s grown on me after learning about Dejah Thoris in the Princess of Mars stories. I was the only person I ever heard of with that name growing up and here a sci-fi author was channeling it in the early-1900s for a story about Mars. Very cool, that.
